Hi, I'm Tim! I strive to bring both heart and rigor to my work as an executive coach. With a career spanning consulting, technology, and retail, I've partnered with and coached leaders around the world to impact learning and development that drives meaningful, lasting change.
I've been fortunate to hold leadership roles at Microsoft, Nintendo, Starbucks, and Dick’s Sporting Goods, where I helped to pioneer large-scale learning ecosystems, reimagined performance management, and built development experiences for leaders at every level.
I've been told my work blends strategic thinking with practical execution and honors a deep respect for the human side of leadership. Whether coaching or advising on culture and talent strategy, I'm proud to translate complexity into clarity and insight into action. At the core of my coaching philosophy is partnership—grounded in dialogue, curiosity, and reflection—to help leaders better understand themselves and lead with intention.
A Seattle native, I enjoy exercise, playing guitar, and spending time outdoors with my wife, two children, and Gus, the family dog. Guided by my values of honesty, family, and learning, I bring these principles into my work. My goal as a coach is not just about performance, but about helping people lead fuller, more authentic, and impactful lives.

My coaching style is grounded in honesty and trust. I've learned over time that leaders make their best decisions—and create the greatest impact—when they operate with clarity, integrity, and transparency. In our work together, you can expect direct conversations, thoughtful challenge, and a safe space to explore what’s working, what’s getting in the way, and how you want to show up as a leader.
Trust is foundational. I believe trust is built by giving it first—through consistency, confidentiality, empathy, and follow-through. As your coach, I will aim to be a reliable thought partner who holds you accountable while supporting your growth. Together, we'll focus on building trust not only within the coaching relationship, but in how you show up with your teams, peers, and stakeholders.
I help leaders step back and reconnect to what matters most—purpose, values, and desired outcomes—before translating that clarity into action. Together, we'll explore the broader organizational context, your role within it, and the results you’re accountable for. From there, I'll help you design practical strategies and habits that align vision with execution and support sustainable impact.
High performance starts with clarity and accountability. Together, we'll focus on setting clear expectations, strengthening feedback and reflection loops, and building the behaviors that support consistent results. I'll help you identify where focus, alignment, or follow-through may be breaking down—and then work with you to close those gaps in ways that feel authentic and achievable.
Influence is most effective when people feel ownership. I coach leaders to engage with others early, invite diverse perspectives, and co-create solutions—especially with skeptics and critical stakeholders. This approach not only strengthens ideas, but also builds alignment and commitment, making change easier to lead and sustain.
Coaching engagements vary based on your goals and desired time commitment and can be customized accordingly. A typical process includes a complimentary 30-minute chemistry call (including a sample coaching conversation), a leadership 360 assessment, a focused development plan, and ongoing coaching sessions—usually two per month—over three to twelve months. When helpful, your manager may be included at the beginning and end of the engagement to align goals and provide an opportunity to demonstrate progress and share key insights.
Coaching fees vary based on the scope, duration, and goals of the engagement. Please reach out to discuss your needs, and Tim will be happy to provide a customized quote.
